Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) Course

The Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) training focuses on teaching how to secure Kubernetes clusters and production-ready applications using best practices in building secure controls throughout the entire lifecycle of cloud-native development.

SSDN Technologies provides this training with the goal of providing learners with a solid foundation of knowledge about Kubernetes security principles; cluster hardening; supply chain security; and runtime protection so that they can make educated choices when implementing secure practices to their cloud native deployments.

Through hands-on experience in securing cluster components; configuring Role-Based Access Control (RBAC); managing secrets; implementing Network Policies; and Hardening Workloads, participants gain valuable experience in securing their Kubernetes environments.

Additionally, participants learn about Container Image Scanning, Vulnerability Management, Security Monitoring, and Incident Response as part of this training. The training also provides labs simulating real-world attack scenarios, helping participants to identify risks associated with their environments and apply appropriate risk mitigation measures.

SSDN Technologies is committed to ensuring the CKS Training curriculum meets current industry standards and aligns with the objectives set forth by the CKS certification. Upon completion of this program, participants will be qualified to help secure their Kubernetes infrastructure; safeguard their Containerized Applications; and foster the use of DevSecOps processes in their organizations. CKS Training is ideally suited for DevOps Engineers, Security Professionals, and Cloud Engineers needing advanced knowledge of Kubernetes Security and the ability to prepare for certification.
