Managing Virtual Machines with Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization Course

The managing virtual machines with the RED hat OpenShift Virtualization (Do316) course is designed to deploy virtual machines within an OpenShift environment, to equip, configure and manage the knowledge required and equipped with hands-on skills on hands. Using the powerful OpenShift Virtualization Operator, the learners will detect efficiently manage the VM with a container workload within an integrated infrastructure.

The course begins by presenting the main concepts to make, arrive, and manage virtual machines on the OpenShift cluster, even if the participants have no prior experience with containers and Kubernetes. Through practical labs, students will learn how to control VM access to CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources, which, using Kubernetes-Mool features, ensure frequent resource management for both VMs and containers.

Additional disciplines include applying high availability (HA) to virtual machines using Kubernetes Tools and Ophenshift-specific enhancements. The learner will also achieve strategies to connect VM to external data center services such as databases and frequent storage.

Finally, the curriculum includes VM migration from the hypervisor supported in the OpenShift environment using the migration toolkit for Virtuoso, which enables spontaneous migrations from the virtualization platforms.

By the end of this course, the participants will be skilled in the management of VM on OpenShift with scalable, cloud-native functioning.
