ISO 26000 Lead Auditor Course

The ISO 26000 Lead Auditor course covers thorough knowledge of evaluating and auditing an organisation's Social Responsibility (SR) performance and its SR commitments by ISO 26000. This training is for auditors, compliance officers, and sustainability managers who intend to implement better ethical business practices.

The training will start with an introduction to the principles of ISO 26000, including: human rights, labour practices, environment, fair operating practices, and community involvement. Participants will then examine the audit process from planning and scoping to conducting the audit, the reporting and then the follow-up, as an organisation meets the SR commitments.

The practical workshops of the course are designed to align with real-world audits using simulation exercises, allowing learners to use their skills, such as evidence collection, stakeholder interviews, and on-the-spot compliance assessment. The participants also reflect on how to work with SR audits and integrate with existing management systems, such as ISO 9001 for quality, and ISO 14001 for the Environment.

Participants will walk away from this course being able to provide an objective assessment of the SR performance, which reports help organisations improve their respective social responsibility performance. The course is delivered by SSDN Technologies, with which CFES is also affiliated and is already a leader in corporate training. This course complements the other course areas concerning AWS governance, Azure compliance, VMware sustainability in IT infrastructures, and AI Excellence Programs, building a responsible growth culture in the modern world of business.
