Kubernetes Fundamentals (LFS258) Course

Kubernetes Fundamentals (LFS258) was created for those in IT that wish to start their journey learning the major concepts and components of Kubernetes through an introduction to the fundamentals of Kubernetes container orchestration. The course helps to prepare a student to learn how Kubernetes delivers and manages deployed container-based applications in modern-day cloud and DevOps environments.

The producer of the course provides the student with hands-on learning using numerous actual Kubernetes Objects such as Pods, Deployments, Services, Namespaces, and many others. As well as explaining some of the major concepts of Kubernetes, e.g., Scheduling, Networking, Storage, etc. Additionally, the course covers being able to perform the main cluster operations along with Configuration Management and Application Deployment Workflows. All students will conduct Hands-On exercises in a Kubernetes Cluster environment where they will be able to implement the theoretical concepts they have learned in their hands-on experience of working with a Kubernetes Cluster.

After the successful completion of the Kubernetes Fundamentals Course, the student should have gained the skills and experience necessary to work comfortably with Kubernetes at an Entry-Level or Middle-Level role. System Administrators, Developers, DevOps Engineers and Cloud Professionals will also benefit from this course if they have an interest in gaining an understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals and want to continue their education in preparation for more advanced Kubernetes certifications and training pathways.
