Network Automation with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and Exam Training

Network automation with the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and Examination (Do457) is a comprehensive course for network administrators and infrastructure automation engineers, which aims to modernise and streamline their network operations. Through this course, the learners will gain experience on hands using answer automation to manage and configure network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls in a multi-vendor environment.

The course begins with the introduction of Red Hat Answer automation platform fundamentals, including installing the Answer, making an inventory, and running ad hoc commands. Participants will then learn to develop a re-purpose playbook to automate regular network tasks. The course dives into dynamic playbook construction using loops, conditions, and variables, ensuring safety through the answer vault. The learners will also check compliance to identify and fix configuration flow, improve network stability, and reduce manual errors.

Practical laboratories strengthen the main concepts, such as collecting real-time device information, validating the current network states, and automation configuration rollouts. The final modules present the real-world network automation challenges, including the MACD (moves, adds, changes, deletions) operations, helping learners to create confidence to automate complex venture-level tasks. By the end of the course, students will be prepared for the respective Red Hat exam and will be prepared to implement strong network automation solutions using Ansible.
