Red Hat Security: Identity Management and Authentication (RH363) Course

Red Hat Security: Identity Management and Authentication (RH362) is a special course designed to equip IT professionals with skills to configure and manage identity management (IDM) in Red Hat Enterprise Linux. This course provides intensive knowledge of centralised authentication, authority, and access control using IDM. Participants will learn how to establish and configure and configure how to establish and configure the IDM servers, replicas, and clients, and gain experience in managing users, groups, policies, and access controls. 
 
The syllabus also includes the integration of IDM with existing enterprise systems, including the establishment of a trust relationship with the Microsoft Active Directory. The learners will explore major techniques such as Kerberos, LDAP, SSSD, and PKI, and will configure services such as integrated DNS, certificate authority, smart card authentication and two-factor authentication. Single sign-on (SSO) functionality, role-based access control (RBAC), and host-based access control (HBAC) are also taught in detail. 
 
In addition, the course includes backup and recovery procedures, troubleshooting of identity issues, and strategies to score IDM in a large enterprise environment. Integration with Ansail Playbooks and integration with Red Hat tools such as Satellite and answer automation platforms are also part of the course. This course is ideal for system administrators and identity experts who are looking to secure the Linux environment through strong identity and access management solutions.
