Red Hat Satellite 6 Administration is a comprehensive course designed for system administrators and DevOps professionals who manage the Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment largely. The course focuses on using Red Hat Satellite 6 to efficiently provision, configure, and maintain the system in physical, virtual, and cloud infrastructure. Participants will learn to deploy and manage satellite servers and capsules, register the hosts, and organise the system in manageable groups for streamlined operations. 
 
The curriculum includes major themes such as material management, software life cycle management, membership management, and repository synchronisation. The learners will gain experience in creating and promoting the ideas of material, configuring host collections, and updating and promoting updates in development, testing, and production environments. It also includes the automation of system provisioning through PXE booting, kickstart and Puppet integration. 
 
In addition, participants will understand how to apply the role-based access control (RBAC), using Ansible for automation, and the health of managed systems should be monitored. The course also provides insight into integrating the Red Hat Satellite along with other Red Hat management devices and third-party services. By the end of the training, the attendees will be equipped to maintain a safe, scalable, and obedient Linux infrastructure, which ensures operational stability in the enterprise, using Red Hat Satellite 6.
